05/Sep/2017 15:06

Mamelodi Sundowns will open the gates for fans wearing yellow to watch the CAF Champions League quarterfinals clash with Wydad Casablanca at Lucas Moripe Stadium for free.

The African champions host the Moroccan side on September 17 in Atteridgeville in the first leg of the two-legged affair.

Fans not wearing yellow will pay R20 to watch the Brazilians in the quest to retain the Champions League crown, lifted in Egypt last year.

The match kicks of at 3pm.

A very good gesture from management, we ‘re really thankful. We must make sure to avoid overcapacitating the stadium to avoid any kind of stamped what so ever.

That’s humbling Mr President, Downs will wipe out the tears from the losses to Cape Verde by our our beloved SA national football team. Much appreciated.

  21. Khathu wa Lutomboni says:

We have had many freè entrance games but failed to fill the Stadium. If we give free entrance without marketing the game is like doing a major service on your car and try to drive it without petrol.

I think our marketing department must engage media and all sports programs on TV and Radios around the country weeks before the game to promote the game. e.g. useless game Black label.

Creat the “I don’t want to miss this one atmosphere “. There are so many ways to market the game.

    • Maja says:

Aii, you can say that again brother, just look at this half-cooked article, if this is the way the webmaster “markets” such a massive game, then there’ll only be a few of us at the stadium. This is just lazy from our marketing department if we have one.

Can the web “master” do a better job banna, this is frustrating, err!

  22. Tshepo says:

  27. Makhura says:

We need to start scouting for international players that will help us conquer Africa for decades. We are now an international Brand like Barca and others

  28. ITDowns says:

I will be supporting my beloved team this time around after a long time.

I just want to say to this to the person(s) responsible for updating this website:
You are pathetic, you take no pride for the work you do. You disregard numerous requests from Mamelodi Sundowns supporters to at least update profiles of players that were registered last year such as Morena, Hachi. At this pace, we might have to wait another 2 seasons to get an update of players signed/promoted this year.
My conclusion at this stage is that you (whether its a team or person) are a bunch of Chiefs or Pirates with no real interest of Mamelodi Sundowns at heart. Sies!

  29. ITDowns says:

Yes, you are probably Chiefs or Sundowns supporters giving us crap service here! Either you or t]your predecessor blocked my profile once before for voicing my opinion. I dare you to try it again and you will regret it this time around!

  30. ITDowns says:

…I mean Chiefs or Pirates supporters !!!!!!!!!!!

  31. emmanuel says:

is there free buses to the stadiunm
