This team also has a total number of sixteen (16) boys as per the club’s mandate to reduce the number from twenty (20) as we had in the previous years. The number is from time to time complimented through the invitation of boys shortlisted during the trials and needed for further assessments.
All the sixteen boys reside at the Academy residence and attend their training session four (4) times a week and attend and play league matches on Saturdays. The team also participates in the Football Association and Schools Cup Competitions and Tournaments.
In 2016 the team did very well and surpassing all expectations by winning the U/17International Tournament (Gothia Cup) in China.

In this current season (2017) the team has been experiencing mix results even thou they have been performing very well in the league matches they thus far played. The team is also facing a challenge of having to play with boys that are two (2) years older than them. This is just a temporary setback as we are happy with the progress the boys are making. The league is still in progress.
The setback in the league matches have been turned around in the school tournaments where they compete with boys of their same age.
