Lelona first made a name for herself at the age of thirteen while playing for Cape Town Roses in Gugulethu, her team went to playoffs in the tournament that was held in Klerksdorp. Current Sundowns Ladies team coach Jerry Tshabalala recruited her to join Masandawana after the play-offs, however, due to her tender age, Daweti only Joined Downs after Matriculating. “Kokota Lelo” has national caps with the u/17 South Africa National Women’s team and was one of the top assists in the 2019/20 Women’s National league campaign with The Brazilians.
