The Mamelodi Sundowns #LiveLimitless Youth Internship Program

The Mamelodi Sundowns Youth Internship Programme is a project launched by the club, in partnership with Student Village which is aimed at providing the youth with the with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience and unique soft skills at the home of champions!

The programme will run for 11 months from August 2023- June 2024 and will see the club open its doors and begin a search for seven eager interns for positions in the following areas:  

– Content Creator

– Data Analyst

– Graphic Designer

-Marketing Activation 

-Supporter Co-ordinator

-Sports Researcher/Journalist

-Production

Application period (start and closing)?

Applications will open on the 22nd of June 2022 at 09h00
Applications will close on the 12th of July 2022 at 17h00

Do I need to be registered at university or any other educational institutions?

No, anyone with a valid matric certificate can apply

Do I need to re-apply if I had applied in the past?

Yes. Although we have your details on record, you need to express interest by resubmitting your details / CV

How will I know if I have been selected for the internship?

Successful candidates will be contacted by Mamelodi Sundowns FC

Do I have to be located in Gauteng, Johannesburg to apply?

No anyone within the borders of South Africa can apply

Will this internship be a paid internship or not?

Yes, this will be a paid internship with a stipend of R5000.00 per month

Will I need to bring my own equipment for the internship?

Standard equipment will be required as per the job description for the role applied for.

Do I need to be studying to apply?

No, as long as you have a valid matric certificate you can apply

Do I need to be a Sundowns supporter in order to register?

No, anyone can apply

I have no experience, but would like to learn, can I enter?

Yes

I have a job; can I do the internship part time?

No, this is a full-time internship

How long is the internship?

The internship is 11 months from August 2023- June 2024

I have a matric certificate but no qualifications in sport. Can I still apply?

Yes

Will I get a full-time position when the internship programme ends?

A decision will be made after the internship program based on performance and positions available

Who can enter the internship?

Anyone between the ages of 18- and 34
