Abdelmounaim Boutouil Joins Mamelodi Sundowns!

The Brazilians have finally signed defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil who joins the Tshwane Giants from Moroccan professional league Botola Pro side, SCC Mohammédia, making him the first Moroccan player to join a PSL club. Masandawana have offered the 24-year-old central defender a three-year deal, with an option to extend for another two years.

Speaking for the first time since joining the team, Boutouil expressed his excitement to join the Tshwane giants: “I am feeling very happy to join one of the biggest clubs in Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns. My goal is to win all the local cups in the PSL and what’s very important for me and for the club is winning the Champions League. I am the first Moroccan player to come play in South Africa, [therefore] I am here to represent my country as a Sundowns player.”

In recent times, the Moroccan played a significant role in helping his nation win the prestigious 2020 African Nations [AFCON] Championship title in Cameroon. The young maestro also had a short loan spell at the home of three-time African champions Raja Casablanca before returning back to his mother club, Mohammédia. The talented left-center back is highly rated as one of the most technically gifted defenders in the Botola Pro league and will form part of Bafana Ba Style’s title defense campaign.

Welcome to the home of Champions Boutouil!

Hallelujah catch them young Thlopie Motsepe and let the old crooks go somewhere they’ve done their part, another thing the South African media is biased towards Downs, when we sign we destroy or kill the competition and Supersport United is our development but when its other teams they’re praised, Pirates is about to sign that good goalkeeper of Chippa and Chippa can fight relegation but no one is complaining about other teams killing competition they will talk only when its Sundowns even Ndlondlo is a Bucs player but the journalists will praise that signing,ya neh its painfully to be a Dawana and the way I see this thing now is pure jealous nothing else.

Well come home broer! Our defense needed reinforcements! We have to challenge for the CAF Champions league title this season! Anything less will be regarded as a failure

Good acquisition, age is still on his side,at least this transfer window we signed wisely,we signed the under 26,only Williams is over 26,the future looks very bright.Happy Erasmus left, the should have been joined by Lebusa,Kutumela and Ralani.Mailula can do way better than Ralani,Kutumela is competing against Sirino,Allande Morena,Savaadra,Mbule,he stands no chance at all,Lebusa agains Kekana,De Reuck,Boutouil, even Mvala and Onyango are better than him.Let’s us not waste money and time on players who are offering nothing to the team.

We all liked Romeo but he was more on the injury list than on the field of play wish him well at Pirates. Looking at what the coaches are doing trying to reduce the average age of the squad it was always going to be difficult for players like Romeo to get game time but hes a quality player
