African Opponent Update: La Passe FC

Mamelodi Sundowns are preparing for their opening match of the CAF Champions League second preliminary stages against La Passe of Seychelles, on Sunday afternoon. Downs are known to be taking charge of the domestic football scene in South Africa, however the Tshwane giants have been finding it difficult to seal the Caf Champions League ever since being crowned African Champions in 2016.

The South African Champions begin their journey with this weekend’s first round, first leg clash against visitors from Seychelle, in hopes of reclaiming African glory.

Who are La Passe FC?

La Passe Football Club is a Seychelles based football club from the island of La Digue. They are playing in the Seychelles League. The club won the Seychelles League four times.


La Passe uses The Stad Linité (official name) which is a multi-use stadium in Victoria, Seychelles. It is currently used mostly for football matches.
