Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have confirmed the signing of youngster Asanda Hadebe from Sasol League club Sunflower FC, where she served as captain.
The highly talented defender recently made the cut for the preliminary squad for the 4th round of the 2024 CAF Women’s Olympic qualifier against Nigeria.
The Hammarsdale-born defender made her senior debut during the first leg encounter of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Mozambique in October 2021 at the age of 16, and she provided an assist in that game.
Hadebe becomes the third addition of the season after the signings of Nthabiseng Majiya and Cimone Sauls, as Masandawana continues to invest in the next generation of talents.
We extend a warm welcome to Asanda to the home of the Champions!
