The DStv Diski Challenge has finally returned, and the Mamelodi Sundowns Diski Team will look to kick off the new campaign by collecting all points on offer. Their opening encounter of the season will take place at the Tuks Stadium, where they will host Siwelele FC on Sunday morning.
The 2024/25 season saw the young Brazilians finishing third on the log. This new season, however, brings new objectives, which are being named the champions of the Reserve League.
This new season also comes with a new coach for the Diski Team. From the Mamelodi Sundowns Academy, coach Tiro van Rooyen will be the captain of the Diski Team and will hopefully help the team sail to victory.
Just like their Pretoria counterparts, Siwelele also comes with a few changes. With both sides having made some changes, the fixture promises to be an unpredictable yet exciting one.
For Masandawana, it will be important to keep the tradition of opening their league campaign with a victory. Coach Tiro, together with his charges, is eager to kick off the season on a positive note, so it may set the tone for the rest of the season.
The Mamelodi Sundowns Diski Team will clash against Siwelele FC on Sunday morning at Tuks Stadium. Kick-off has been scheduled for 10H00.
