Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will be aiming to extend their remarkable winning streak when they visit Ezemvelo Women at the Sugar Ray Stadium on Wednesday. The Brazilians are in unstoppable form, having crushed Durban Ladies 7–0 in their last outing at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
That emphatic victory marked their 11th consecutive win and strengthened their position at the top of the Hollywoodbets Super League table. Banyana Ba Style have now collected 65 points from 25 matches, recording 21 wins and two draws, with an impressive 73 goals scored and only seven conceded. Their exceptional form sees them boasting both the best attack and best defence in the league this season.
Speaking ahead of the game, Midfielder Kholosa Biyana emphasized the team’s focus and resilience as they manage a demanding schedule.
“We are taking it one game at a time because there are no easy matches in this league. Ezemvelo Women have been doing well, so we know this will be a tough test. The key is to keep our focus and maintain our position at the top. Winning games wins you the league, and that is our aim. We have been consistent and we want to continue in that way.”
Biyana added that motivation within the squad remains high as the season reaches its crucial stages.
