Club action will be taking a backseat for the next two weeks as football goes into the March International break. Mamelodi Sundowns go into the break after picking up a point in a 1-1 draw with Black Leopards on Sunday.
Seven players from The Brazilians have been called up to represent Bafana Bafana in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers: Mosa Lebusa, Themba Zwane, Lebohang Maboe, Andile Jali, Rivaldo Coetzee, Thapelo Morena and Mothobi Mvala have been called up to the squad that will be preparing to face Ghana and Sudan in the last two crucial matches of the AFCON Qualifiers.
Also in AFCON action, Denis Onyango has been called up to do duty for the Cranes of Uganda, who will be aiming for two positive results to seal a spot in the continental showpiece. In-form striker Peter Shalulile will lead the attack of Namibia in their last two games in their bid to qualify for the tournament.
On the technical side, Trott Moloto and Thabiso Moshane have also been called up to serve the country and will be part of Bafana Bafana set up during the break.
Riedoh Berdien will travel to Gambia as he will be part of their technical team.
