Downs join call to ‘Stay at Home’

First of all, we wish you and your family well in these exceptionally difficult circumstances that we are experiencing in our country and around the world.

As you have learned through our various channels of communication, the club has taken all measures and precautions to help slow the spread of the coronavirus in South Africa. We have complied with all legal provisions and additional recommendations from the relevant health authorities and the Premier Soccer League.

Now is the time to emphasize the value of solidarity, strictly following the indications of the authorities and, above all, remaining at home to help flatten the curve.

Coach Pitso Mosimane thanked the essential services personal who are on the frontlines fighting this pandemic through his social platforms, calling for everyone to adhere to the calls to administer safe practices and implement social distancing.

Many first team players joined in, with Wayne Arendse, Kennedy Mweene, Hlompho Kekana and Tiyani Mabunda adding their voices to the cause.

Together we are going to overcome this immense challenge. We will do it together and with the certainty that we will again enjoy Mamelodi Sundowns passion with the same dreams as always.

Of course yes the instructions must be followed as it has been stipulated, but my concern other players if not most of them don’t have the necessary resources at their homes to keep them fit. But anyway it is a common problem for every teams. No one is advantageous or disadvantaged

    1. Why are the fans quiet about the renewal of a contract for Mosomane. I think fans should have a big say because the team is for the people not individuals of sundowms management. My view is that whoever has a problem from the management against Pitso apart from The President of the team, that person must go because he wants to destroy the team. Sundowns has been defeated many times before the arrival of Mosimane. The man has transformed the team and the President must step in to resolve the issue. I know that the President wants Mosomane but there are people who do not want him. Let those people leave the team if they are not supporting the coach. They are not coaching but helping in the affairs of the team. So guys, go and leave Pitso and his technical team drilling the team. You were there when sundowns used to be defeated and you did nothing and some of you were given a chance to coach and you failed. Pitso came and transformed the team and now you have big mouth. No guys just go. Mr President Please renew the contract for our coach..amen
