Haashim Domingo Looks Ahead To Galaxy Encounter

Mamelodi Sundowns take on TS Galaxy in their first home Premier Soccer League game of the season on Wednesday, 10 August. Masandawana will be looking to carry on with their superb form in front of a home crowd at Loftus Versfeld Stadium after their successful victory in the opening round of the 2022/23 season. Bafana Ba Style have a hundred percent win record against the Mbombela based tem, four wins in four matches with nine goals scored for Downs makes them a favorite to win this battle.

The last meeting between the two teams was in March 2022, which saw Masandawana get the better of Galaxy in a 3 – 0 spectacle with goals from Haashim Domingo, Khuliso Mudau and Peter Shalulile sealed. Domingo was heavily involved in Friday night’s action against Cape Town City with an assist to see the team seal their second goal, the 26-year-old is keen to be more involved upfront this season.

“What my game is lacking is goals, even from last season and I think it’s something that I am going to improve this season – goals and assists. I will try my best [to score goals] because it’s a feeling that I won’t forget, it’s something that I am searching for in every game and in every season. I stay behind after training sessions to do things on my own and that will definitely help me achieve and produce more goals like that.” Said the Cape Town born star.

The Brazilians have marked their Wednesday encounter with Galaxy as a celebration of women’s month with the theme “Women’s Month Wednesday”, and giving their female supporters free entrance into the stadium. Domingo encouraged the Yellow Nation to show up to maintain their presence in this encounter

“It’s important that we have fans back in stadiums because they are the 12th man and it’s important that we have their support because they will definitely bring the best out of us.”

Mamelodi Sundowns clash with TS Galaxy in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday, 10 August at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. The game will be televised live on SuperSport TV.

If Nassir succeeded to play and excelled in those long grass pitches in Ethiopia I swear here in SA he’ll be a star let our Wisemen just give him the chance to showcase his talent because the guy is so good even Shalulile can be relieved with the burden of scoring.

Seconded member,is just that i don’t have faith in our technical team, players don’t grow under their leadership, they might loan him.The boy is very talented,i heard he is attending English classes just maybe the have plan for him which i doubt. You will forever see Ralani on the pitch for doing nothing,Maluleke contributed more than him with the few game he played.

We lost against Petro Luanda of Angola incompetency of the technical team! Now they want to save their faces through a misguided campaign of saying there was no competition the Dstv premier league! What a lame excuse!! I still do trust those coaches!
