I am competing with quality players and every day I learn from them – Mudau

A busy schedule is nothing new for Mamelodi Sundowns, playing more games than other DStv Premiership opposition has become a regular feature for The Brazilians. The 2020/21 season has been no different for Masandawana, as they do battle in the CAF Champions League, DStv Premiership and the Nedbank Cup.

As part of the fight for trophies, Mamelodi Sundowns have a large squad with fierce competition for places. Khuliso Mudau is a versatile wing-back spoke to us about his time since he joined Bafana Ba Style:

“I have made about six appearances for the club in the league, I feel as if I have done well in all the games I have featured in whether as a sub or starting. The club plays a lot of games, almost forty a season. We are playing for a big team and expectations are there for us to win every game and challenge or every trophy”.

Mudau who made joined The Brazilians earlier this season also spoke about competing with one of the best right-sided players in the league in Thapelo Morena and gave an insight into the lessons he has learned he has learned from the experienced campaigners in the side:

“I am competing with quality players like Thapelo Morena, Lebo Maboe and every day I learn from them. They have been with the club for a while and understand what is needed by the coaches from us as players. So they are always available for advice and it is not like we are just here for work then leave, we are brothers at the end of the day and they also want me to improve and achieve as they have done with the club. Every moment I spend with the guys is valuable to me”, concluded Mudau.

    Why is the team so quite about our re-scheduled game against CR Belouizdad? Are they planning to depart for Tanzania a day before the game or what?
