Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Chippa United without Ricardo Nascimento who has a groin injury. The Brazilians’ centreback will miss this clash along with Wayne Arendse who has a calf strain. The versatile Thapelo Morena is another defender who has a minor niggle. Morena has flu while Tiyani Mabunda has a hamstring problem.
Sundowns’ coach Pitso Mosimane will be forced to make some changes in his starting XI against the struggling Chilli Boys.
The Brazilians face Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday in Port Elizabeth in the Nedbank Cup last 32.
Anthony Laffor is another player who is injured. The Liberian has a knee injury while Thela Ngobeni is nursing his groin.
Sibusiso Vilakazi is still working his way towards full fitness having been sidelined for a long time due to an Achilles tendon injury.
It seems as if when we need to make a change in the starting eleven you hear an injuries stories about our players yet when we meet those players at the games they tell the different story please the coaches must rotate the team
Sam. After watching the first half of our game against Chippa, I’ll never call for our fringe players to be given a chance. Only Mahlambi is showing interest in playing this game. They were supposed to grab this opportunity and show us what we’ve been missing from them, but alas they don’t show any hunger
@ Dalom, I always said that let us not choose the team, Every time we play fringe players we are kicked out of the cup remember Cape town city. very few players who are in the grand stands have a problem about that. Most of those players are happy to be there but all we can do is to complain.Let us leave the coach to do his job and let us do ours.
Our over-reliance on Onyango is costing us games. His decision making is so poor most of the times
Thanks God we are out of this trophy lets focus more on league and Champions league,I fully agree with you Dalom our fringe players are not grabing the chance they were given especial Jali I don’t know what’s wrong with him.
Today we should have gave Meza or Malatjila a chance to play happy for Mohomi my favorite player to saw him play,Kby forever
I’ll always say this&I’ll repeat over&over again that deserving fringe players must b given the chance to show us what r they made of.Like we have seen Brockie now it’s high time that Sekotlong&Ali Meza must be given a fair chance like others who have disappointed us,b4 they r made as a bait 2 buy other disappointing players. As 4 being given injury updates it buffles me that Ngobeni&Sekotlong r in the list of those injured where’s they haven’t featured in a single game this season. As 4 Jali the onus is on him now whether he’s prepared to play 4 us bcoz too there r off the field issues linking him with a lot of misbehaviour.I liked today’s starting eleven I saw wish Pitso could just add an out&out striker like Meza or Sekotlong just to finish those balls&b given a fair chance like Brockie who have shown us that he is not a Sundowns material.Football was a winner today it’s just the referees r always seeing things differently.Really was it a corner??.We r trailing Wits&Pirates now bcoz of those dubious offside calls from the middleman.Sundowns should be moving away from the old players&try to introduce&show us a firm belief to up&coming youngsters.I also wish 2 c see Thela Ngobeni being given a run in the starting lineup. We have seen how weak this Ryaard Pietersen boy&doesn’t deserve 2 even play 4 us.We may have lost to Chippa but we players very well.Lets concentrate to the league and Champions league now&see where it leave us.
Silva has opened can of worms, we now know that our speculations were true. Favouritism!
Dawanas there’s a fantastic player at B.Leopards by the surname of Bereng jersey no.15 what a player he reminds me of Alex Bapela I wonder why Baxter doesn”t select them on Bafana.
Like!! Great article post.Really thank you! Really Cool.
One of those games it could have gone either way.I was impressed with Mohomi’s performance and Mkhulise.Onyango’s poor judgment is costing us,even against Highlands park he did the same but,he also saves us on one on one situation.Lastly please coach get us Kambole from Zesco, the boy is quick, lethal, uses both feet,he packs powerful shot and he is only 25yrs,and plz give Meza a chance.
Pitso and the players should realize that it hurts alot when our beloved team loses, whether its a friendly, nedbank cup, the league or CCL the pain is still the same.
On our website we playing amazulu at home on tuesday, however no such match appears on supersport fixture list, who is not doin his job here

And i agree, Onyango has been costing us of late
wining or losing i like the way we play im happy to see Mohomi if he stays with us he will be the biggest play in the future as for jali he give us nothing

Good riddance that we have bombed out of Nedbank. Jali must be loaned out he is too not match fit.

Mosimane ‘weakest coach I have ever worked with’‚ says Silva in scathing letter, Says Silva.
Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog.
An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
I personally don’t think that I’ve ever been good at accepting change for 3 week diet, but as a business owner, I have to do my best to make sure that that I help the people that are affected by 3 week diet it as it happens. Change is inevitable and can happen for so many reasons – because your services need to be refined, or prices change, or you have problem with stock in storage 3 week diet
