Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies take on Thunderbird Ladies on Saturday in the Hollywoodbets Super League with the hopes of securing another win. The undefeated Ladies team are currently sitting on position number two in the standings with goal difference separating them from log leaders First Touch FC.
“We are looking forward to our next game against Thunderbirds from Eastern Cape, we are playing against one of the quickest sides in the league. Currently, we are lying second on the log, we want to be a driving force and lead from the front [so] whatever chances we will create on the weekend we will need to finish them as early as possible,” said Head Coach Jerry Tshabalala.
Coach Jerry further extended his good wishes to the Senior team ahead of their tough CAF Champions League battle “We want to wish our men’s team good luck for their Champions League game when they play against Al Ahly SC. We believe in them to definitely turn the tables around, they are one of the sides that is very capable of anything.”
