Lakay Expecting Firery Tshwane Derby

“The Tshwane Derby is never boring and there’s always something to play for” this is according to Mamelodi Sundowns versatile and former Supersport United player Lyle Lakay.

The two Tshwane giants lock horns at the Loftus Stadium in a Wednesday night fixture that promises fireworks as always.

Supersport are currently lying 6th on the Absa Premiership log with 40 points, only four points behind Sundowns and ten points behind the log leaders. Lakay warns against writing ‘Matsatsantsa’ out of the title chase.

“If you listened to their technical team carefully leading up to this match, you can sence that they beleive they are still in the title race and that makes them a highly motivated bunch”

“If you ask me, they are currently doing very well in my opinion especially if you look at where they were halfway through the season and where they are right now. They have actually gone quietly about their business, almost unnoticed”

Which means its true if the statistics are anything to go by that Pitso doesn’t defend the trophy he won the previous year now I’m starting to believe that We will not take this trophy this season let’s fight to be number two so that we can qualify for Champions League again.
Other things about always playing same team every time let me reverse my comment on that maybe others will tell it better than me I’ve got nothing to say this time around, Kby forever

My Coach pls rotate the players you can see the League will not help you with the fixtures that’s why some of them get injured so often because they play many games its taking the big strain on them, lastly how many games do we have at Downs if our coach will always cry about the injured, by the look of things Pitso has put all his energy to champions league now forgetting that to play there you must win or come second domestically,Kby forever

We are in a very tricky schedule, its tough , very few teams compete the same level at which we are are and succede. We wanted to win that game, it did not happen, we keep pushing, we should be more clinical upfront, people must just score, if we do not score we do not win, we can not defend for ever , we must score. When l look at the schedule, l see how these guys are said to be professional footballers, no time to train or rest, we must soldier on, keep moving forward, we lost to a fair team, they know how to defend a lead. We look forward to a Saturday match,we keep the focus.

Once i saw the lineup with Kennedy Mwene in the post, i knew that we are going to loose the game. I do not why Pitso still trust this man together with other goalkeeper from Supersport, they are old and not Sundowns materials. Sundowns have a very good goalkeeper in the name of Ngobeni, who can easily replace Denis, but Pitso does not see it, we will regret him when other teams will buy him, remember how he performed in Free State Stars last season. Secondly, the comments Pitso made about the Psl title last night that Pirates can take it is very bad. It seems that he is doing it on purpose by lining up a weak team so that Pirates win it, maybe he has a deal with Irvin Khoza, we are not going to accept it. Same thing with the other local cups like Mtn cup, Telkoms cup and nedbank cups, he likes to neglect them, giving the reason of focusing on the champion league. Our club needs all these cups, and there is no guarantee that we are going to win this champion league. He also likes to buy dead players from Pirates who are bringing nothing to the team. Recently He bought Gabuza, who is a finished players, but he still want him in Sundowns. Sundowns management is giving Pitso too much much respect, it must start monitoring him, maybe he is a spy of other clubs such Pirates in Sundowns. Look how he likes to praise Irvin Khoza in detriment of Patrice Motsepe, his President , who pay him high salaries more than all the Psl coachs.

I dont believe the team lost because Kennedy Mwene was on the line up, He has played and the team has won other games. It was n’t meant to be , that is what l know, We saw Rowen Williams thwarting great saves that would have gone in on his bad day too. We saw Clayton Daniels and Grant Kekana defending well, we were not good enough but we played. If Ngobeni can easily replace Denis Onyango then Bafana Bafana has enough goal keepers too, His chance probably will arrive, But all players play on merit, there are goal Keeper Coaches who know their abilities better at their work place than us , one thing for real every player will always want to prove a point against his former employer, its common. To say Pitso like buying dead players from pirates is not true, these are just emotions bro, we lost , just calm down, the same team will make you happy again. Akulahlwa mbeleko ngokufelwa, the League is still up for grabs, one game at a time. We need all the Cups but you can not win them all, if you focus on all of them , you will lose all of them, you achieve by priority for that particular year, the year we are not going to participate in international Caf games, we will win all the local Cups and probably the league for that year. I think the Gabuza Issue was just a fluke, it has made you angry since its false publication. I am sorry for such repports, they just want us not to unite and support our team well, ignore that, be well and lets go and support the team in Polokwane Peter Mokaba

Which guarantee do you have that we are going to win caf champion league, so that we neglect the other national cups? And if it is the case, why do we participate in those national cups if they are not our priority? No, there is nothing wrong to focus to all cups, even though we are not going to win all of them, but with determination and little effort, we can at least win some. What about Barcelona and other big teams of the world, are they not focus on all the cups and win some of them?We may end up losing all the cups this season and finish it with empty hands. Pisto must change his mindset about cups, otherwise, he is not fit to coach sundowns, because Sundowns is a big team with great vision, and all clubs members including the technical team must be behind that vision.
