Mamelodi Sundowns Vs Orlando Pirates postponed

Mamelodi Sundowns’ match against Orlando Pirates has been postponed following the State President’s pronouncement that gatherings of more than 100 people are prohibited due to the Corona Virus outbreak, as well as the subsequent decision by the Premier Soccer League to postpone all matches under its auspices, including the MultiChoice Diski Challenge.

The match against Pirates, which was scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 17 March 2020) at the Loftus Stadium will be played at a later stage.

Supporters that have already bought tickets, are encouraged to keep their tickets safe and will be advised on the way forward (to either use the tickets at a later stage or get a refund).

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and are in solidarity with those that have lost their loved ones and are affected by the outbreak.

We encourage everyone to exercise care and take the necessary precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona Virus as per the guidelines.

As more information is made available we will provide you with updates.

A blessing in disguise. That will give “Jingles” more time to have his full squad back from injuries. Pirates is going to see flames I tell you. Those guys have started believing in winning the remaining cups. They play with their hearts not legs. I love Downs

Though i wished we played tomorrows’ game, a record of 4-games in 11 days, three wins 1 draw no lose!

      One Love, Yellow Nation.

Good for us! The boys will rest. I had been praying for this from the day European leagues were suspended.

The suspension of great gatherings is a pre-cautionary measure that ought to be observed to make sure this virus is combated properly , that is the wisest thing to do. Coming to the games , Sundowns needed the the rest, but other teams get affected by this because they were ready. All the best, and be safe great people

If Sundowns don’t take this as a blessing in disguise…1 COACH PISTO contract should be sorted..if not we need explanation, 2 Good rest to the boy’s,and fitness opportunity to Snotie and others, full squad.. question what is update on SIRINO case..

  7. A blessing in disguise indeed, this will give us time to rest and hopefully the injured will be ready to defend the league.

Thanks President I was afraid of Pirates because they were a rested team while we were busy playing, next time we will come well rested maybe we will play with Pirates on our last game when we’re already take the league.

What it’s gonna happen because the PSL league soon will be in final destination, and I’ve heard some rumors that chiefs will be given a league because of Corona which is not Gud at all.The psl board that they have reached it’s not fair for other teams, I think they must shift all matches of league to May or June so that it can concluded very well
