Mamelodi Sundowns Welcome Surprise Ralani

Mamelodi Sundowns are delighted to welcome attacker Bradley “Surprise” Ralani from Cape Town City. The Kimberley-born midfielder makes his way to Tshwane to represent The Brazilians following the signing of an 18 months deal, with a 1 -year option to extend.

Ralani – who started his career locally at the Stars of Africa academy – is an experienced campaigner who has plied his trade in Norway and Sweden, representing numerous clubs including IFK Hässleholm, Helsingborg, Landskrona & Lyngby BK before returning so South Africa in 2018 to join City.

Surprise has been a prominent player in his time in the Mother City, contributing goals and assists and becoming the clubs all-time leading goalscorer earlier this season. The attacker’s form for The Citizens Eric this season has seen him make 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and two assists in the process.

When the team returns to training at Chloorkop, Ralani will be linking up with a familiar face when he reunites with former teammate Kermit Erasmus, who also signed from the Cape Town outfit.

Welcome to Bafana Ba Style, Surprise.

Good signing. I I understand people are complaining about age. Every organization has short term goals and long term. Ralani is an excellent player. He’s excellent in a one in one, taking players on. It gives the team different variations. Lets give the technical team the benefit of the doubt. They know more than us what’s good for the team. We are breaking records but people are still complaining.

Let’s give the technical the benefit of the doubt! They know the team better than us! This is short term solution! I wish we can sign Tebogo Mokoena from Supersport fc! His long range shooting can help us in the Champions league!

This signing was unnecessary,we are like a retirement village, we should have gone for a skilful and pacy Du Preez or Lakay then sign Mokoena. Not even surprised bcoz this technical team is allergic to youngsters and love some useless records. I think they are the 1st technical team in the Downs’ existence to have signed a player this old simply because they lack vision. We have Maema and Mkuma who can do better job for many years to come than this Ralani.I doubt if he can manage to play 5 games this season.I think this technical team they should be fired when they fail to win champions league. We are a very ambitious team and need an ambitious technical team.Someone cahoots with agents of these players to eat Motsepe’s money.

I can’t believe this. They let Kekana to away a player who has more experience than Ralani. A player who brought glory to yellow Nation no skipper can match Keke at sundowns history. It’s a shame, we have young talents than this would be bound retirement individual

I thought the era of signing anything that can kick a ball was gone with Oros. It’s the clearest indication yet that even the players we signed under Oros were being forced on him. I really suspect Trott and I can’t wait for Oros’ book. Some of these signings don’t make sense at all. You’ll find we even paid millions for this madala and John Comittis is laughing all the way to the bank.

You just can’t a player who is unable to play 90 minutes like we did with Erasmus,we just don’t learn. We need to state the facts,he played more games than Maema and Sirinoh combined yet they each have more goals and assists than him, this simply means we don’t need him.Someone from management has a huge hand in this nonsense. As responsible taxi owner, you can’t allow a driver to convince you to buy an E20 taxi when the government is busy destroying Siyaya taxis. We should have learned from the likes of Barcelona, they played with old players for a very long time without introducing youngsters when the time still permits them to do so,now they are forced to introduce them at once hence they are struggling now.We signed Mandela after he spent more than 2 years without kicking a ball, you just can’t sign a player that was rejected by both Chippa and Pirates.I can put my head on the chopping block, thi season we won’t pass the group stages of champions league.
