Mamelodi Sundowns have been crowned winners of the Premier Soccer League Q-innovation Q1 award for the 2020/21 season. This has been achieved after playing eight games and accumulating eighteen points and the only side close to that is second-placed Swallows and only the goal difference makes The Brazilians the winners.
Masandawana has scored sixteen goals and conceded five, three draws and five victories, remaining unbeaten on the route to winning the first Q-innovation award of the season. The Brazilians beat Kaizer Chiefs in the opening game of the season and went on to record some great wins in the first opening games, beating AmaZulu in the big scoring game in the season so far, the away win to Cape town City and demolishing Stellenbosch at home.
The Premier Soccer League made the announcement accompanied with a cheque of R1,5 million.
