Mohomi turns 29

Mohomi, who joined Sundowns in 2016 from Free State Stars turned 29 today (10 May 2020). The Mamelodi-born midfielder has been pushing to break into Mosimane’s Starting XI however a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury has plagued his 2019/20 season.

The midfielder has always remained positive and optimistic during his spell at the Brazilians, even with playing time coming hard to come by.

“Even though it is frustrating sitting outside is more of a learning curve and for growth. I believe that now I am ready, and my time is coming for me to showcase my talent.”

The 29 year old will be looking to add to his winners medals having already claimed; 2 X ABSA PSL winners medals, 1 X CAF Champions League medal and a CAF Super Cup medal to finish off an impressive collection.
