Mosa Lebusa Reacts To Monday’s Nedbank Cup Draw

The fixtures for the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup have been revealed following the draw that took place on Monday evening. The Brazilians will host third-tier side Mathaithai FC in their last 16 encounter, Mosa Lebusa – who attended the draw – expressed his thoughts on the outcome of the draw:

“We can’t complain because we’ve got a home game, that’s what we want because our schedule is very hectic, so it’s a little bit of an advantage. We are playing a team that we know little about, which makes them a bit dangerous for us, but we approach every game as we always do and we make sure that we win the game.”

Bafana Ba Style go in search of their fourth Nedbank Cup title after being knocked out on penalties by Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the semifinals last year. With their next opponents confirmed, the mysterious opponents from the Free State province will be tested when they come to the home of champions.

“We don’t want to undermine them, because they can pull a shocker on us and cause an upset for us if we undermine them. We will go to this game 100% focused, give a 100% performance and be professional. The approach is always the same, whether we are playing a team in the PSL or the lower league teams, the main point is to win the game and we try by all means to win our games. Games are not the same, sometimes it’s hard but we push through, we make sure that we make our opponents tired and towards the end of this season it will come down to quality, and our quality will always pull us through the line.” Said the skipper.

The Premier Soccer League will release the dates, kick-off times, venues and all around the eight Nedbank Cup fixtures in due course.
