Following the Nedbank Cup last 32 announcement on Wednesday, Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn with KwaZulu-Natal based Richards Bay FC for the 2022 #KeYona Competition.
The Brazilians won this competition in their 2019/20 season campaign, however, were unfortunate to defend their title after being knocked out in the semi-final stages last season during a penalty shootout against Marumo Gallants FC. Bafana Ba Style will travel to Richards Bay Stadium to meet their first opponents of this entertaining tournament in pursuit to reclaim the Nedbank Cup with their convincing current fine form in the DStv Premiership to boost their campaign, Downs will be looking to continue with their stellar performances to bring yet another attraction to their decorated trophy cabinet at Chloorkop.
The 2022 #KeYona competition is set to kick off on the first weekend of February with the dates and times for the enchanting resumption of this entertaining tournament to be communicated by the PSL.
