The festive season is a time to spend with family and loved ones, to celebrate all that you have worked hard for during the year. Coach Steve Khomphela shared some wise words and said “Those who are blessed, need to bless others.”
Mamelodi Sundowns had the initiative to celebrate Christmas with their supporters as they travelled to the corners of the country to share this time with those that are in need. The 7 Days of Christmas With Mamelodi Sundowns initiative was developed to give back and remind everyone of the importance of sharing happiness. Orphanages from areas like Bloemfontein, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Polokwane, North-West, Soweto and Mamelodi were at the receiving end of this auspicious event.
The KZN event was even graced by the first team, the likes of Sifiso Ngobeni, Gift Motupa, Ricardo Goss (Who even dressed up as Santa Clause) and also Coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
“It touches my heart to work for people who do their best to cater for people not only themselves but also make sure others benefit from what God has given them. The Motsepe family has been good to the people of the country and may God bless them abundantly and may continue with their journey. We appreciate what they are doing for the country and the whole continent”, said Coach Manqoba Mngqithi
