Peter Shalulile has been awarded the DStv Premiership Player of the Month Award, the striker played five matches, scoring three goals and bagging two assists. The Namibian was also on the score sheet the past weekend when Mamelodi Sundowns played in continental football. The award was given to the best performing player across the period from 13 January to 2th of February and was voted for by a panel of football journalists and analysts
“I give credit to my teammates and the technical team. I am just happy as it is my first time winning the award. This award means I must work harder and I want to thank everyone that voted for me”, said Peter Shalulile.
The Namibian international has played twenty-two games in all competitions for Masandawana and has scored twelve goals with five assists.
“To the supporters, it is unfortunate that they can’t join us at the stadium but I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for always being there for us. We will keep on making them proud and we will try our level best to make sure that we win every game for them.” said Shalulile.
