In the first week of this Downs driven initiative, Gaston Sirino dazzled us with a unique bit of South American skill. We received 100’s of entries and had to decide on just 5 finalists.
Nkosinathi Mazibuko, Simphiwe Mhlabelwana, Lebohang Molakeng, Smitty Smith & Mpu Thaqs dazzled us and walked away with 2 gigs of data each for their efforts.
This week Nonhlanhla Mthandi from our Ladies Team, raises the heat with a piece of pure Brazilian magic. Notorious for this show of skill, the Downs Ladies starter recently got her first call up to Banyana Banyana when the team took on Lesotho. The international friendly match was played at a packed Tsakane Stadium on Sunday, 8 March 2020.
Desiree Ellis handed Nonhlanhla her first cap and she did not disappoint with Banyana Banyana celebrating International Women’s Day with an easy 3-0 victory over Lesotho.
Good Luck Masandawana, let’s see if you can keep up!
