Mamelodi Sundowns welcome the return of Gaston Sirino who is now available for selection. The Uruguayan missed the first two games after the resumption of football as he was serving a suspension. The diminutive midfielder missed the semifinal clash against Bidvest Wits and the Absa Premiership encounter against Orlando Pirates.
“Look I served my suspension and I missed two crucial games, I am happy that we managed to book ourselves a spot in the final. It will be the second final this season and we are going to make sure that we win another Cup competition.”
Sirino has been in great form this season for the Brazilians, he has played thirty-two games in all competitions and has eleven goals and seven assists to his name.
Sirino said “It’s been a couple of months with no football due to the lockdown and when football returned I had to sit out. It was not easy watching from the stands but now I am available for selection and if I am selected I will do my best and make sure the supporters are happy at home as they cannot be with us at the stadium.”
AMG is back and that’ll strengthen and give Jingles options in our attack.. Good luck for this evening Masandawana👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾
Kinq is Back.. Feeling sorry for hiqhlanders
But can we play everybody according 2 his position.I thought Jali was the best defensive midfielder 4 us this year experimenting ppl is just too late for the coach 2 do that while chasing&trying 2 catch Chiefs. Its not Sundowns which is frustrating but the coach who likes 2 give away points everytime we r coming from a break.U cant even start to understand Pitso’s stnce of always selecting Maboe when u getting nothing from him bcoz Madjadibodu is there;but Maboe failed as a striker&now this!!!Can u play players on merit Pitso not on favourotism
Against Highlands Park this was the worse performance ever. Some1 must please explain the role of Riva? This guy offer us nothing. We kicked all the balls forward beacuse we had Noone in the middle to link up with the forwards. Very dissapointing performance
Can somebody call Pitso and tell him please, this guy Riva is offering us nothing at all
We always start a season slow. This is like a new season. I hope we peak soon.
Can our President go and collect Affonso We need him big time and another thing Maboe must go back to striking position we have enough rightbacks. How can you introduce a player of Laffor calibre on two mins remaining whereas Villa was a passenger.
Rivaldo coetzee is the weakest link in the middle of the park ,he plays too deep and is offering us nothing.
Masandawana lets bring back Affonso from Uruguay , and sign that Shalulile. I also hope that the rumour of Gift Motupa having signed for us is true. My only worry is the central defense ,we lack quality there, yes the midfield is not doing well but we have plenty of quality there and as such we can always turn it around in the middle anyday.
I agree with those who say Riva and Keke combo sits back too much and we need a player that is going to go box to box when one sits back. Perhaps we need to bring in Mabunda or Jali with Keke sitting back .Riva can be used at right back instead of Maboe. Riva has speed and has good crosses ,can play better than many of the number 2s we have. Or i will play Riva with Arendse at the Centre back instead of the Nascimento and Madisha, the weakest link of the team. The latter two always blow hot and cold, thats for sure, whether you like it or not. The whole season they will always make school boy mistakes. But and a BIG but, we can say what we want ,at the end of the day we do not know what happens at training, perhaps some players show commitment and discipline and have work ethic than others and hence coaches end up selecting the player that we see playing week in week out. Coaches can’t select players that do not put enough effort and also not living a good healthy life.
So far my boys are not on that Standard we all know but trust me, we will with a big Smile up Masandawana up
