Mamelodi Sundowns and Summerfield Dynamos will meet on Saturday evening in the Nedbank Cup quarter finals with both clubs looking confident about winning the competition.
The Brazilians welcome ABC Motsepe League KwaZulu-Natal champions at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium to battle it out for a spot in the next round of the KeYona Competition. Dynamos were successful in their campaign as they reached this stage of the tournament after knocking out Black Eagles 1-0 in the Last 16 round. Masandawana’s midfield maestro, Lesedi Kapinga expressed the team’s desire to continue with their winning streak:
“The only thing that we know is the information that the analysts have given us, it’s a little bit [but] I believe it’s one thing that’s gonna work for us. When it comes to playing an unknown team it’s not a matter of getting to relax because we want to win all our games. I believe we are gonna fight as a team to get results so that we can go to the next round.”
“They must just expect us to do better, we believe that we are going to display good football so that they can learn more from us,we are not going to be complacent, we are always going to make sure that we win our games. The target as a team is to win the tournament.”
The coastal team will be underdogs when they come face to face with the Tshwane giants who are looking to add yet another milestone in their 2021/22 campaign. Kapinga shared words of encouragement to the young stars that are looking to make their way into professional football.
“They must continue working hard and believing in their talent, working hard is one thing that’s going to work for them.”
