“We are receiving an improved Rulani” – Mosimane

Mamelodi Sundowns Head Coach, Pitso Mosimane and his technical team have welcomed Coach Rulani Mokwena to the camp at Royal Marang and it was just like old times again as the former assistant coach got straight to work with Coach Manqoba, Wendell and the rest of the team.

Mamelodi Sundowns has always believed in Coach Rulani and the value that the former Assistant Coach added to the team.

Coach Pitso said, “He started his career here, he moved on for a while, but we are all coaches, we are ambitious. We need to try to test ourselves and we need to explore, learn and see.”

“He is now a better person and a better coach, he has learnt a lot, 3 years down the line, he has seen things and coached as a head coach. We are receiving an improved Rulani.”

Coach Pitso ended with these words on why he felt Coach Rulani’s experience was needed back at the camp.

“Sundowns has big ambitions. The fight and battle is too big, that’s why we felt it was important to get him back to help us with this battle.”
