The month of November is a busy month for Mamelodi Sundowns as the focus switches back to the DSTV Premiership and the boys do battle in three important games. Masandawana will be going out to ensure that they collect the maximum points to put them in a good position.
First up is a trip to the Mother City to face Cape Town City on the 4th at the Cape Town Stadium. The last four meetings between the two sides have not been favourable as the Brazilians have won once, drawn once and lost two but they will be going to the Mother City to rewrite that.
The next two games will be played after the international break at home against AmaZulu and Stellenbosch.
Mamelodi Sundowns will be represented during the international break as Motjeka Madisha, Andile Jali, Themba Zwane, Kermit Erasmus and Lyle Lakay will be playing against Sao Tome in the AFCON Qualifiers. Peter Shalulile will also be representing Namibia in a clash against Mali.
The ladies team will have players doing duty for the national team at the COSAFA Cup in Port Elizabeth. The ladies who will be flying the Brazilians’ flag in the national team are Andile Dlamini, Karabo Makhurubetshi, Lebogang Mabatle, Karabo Dhlamini, Nonhlanhla Mthandi, Oratile Mokoena and Chantelle Esau.
The month of November promises to be a mouthful for the Brazilians.
