The technical team has been getting the side ready to face Cape Town City in the DSTV Premiership this coming Wednesday at the Cape Town Stadium. Coach Rulani Mokwena spoke about the team’s readiness for the upcoming clash.
“Preparations have been going well and the good thing is we have had time on the pitch, time to work on a couple of schemes and routines. It has given us time to induct and introduce the new players into our way of working and facilitate a smoother process and synergy amongst our players. The preparations have gone well and the training has been very good and we look forward to the next encounter against Cape Town City,” said Coach Rulani Mokwena.
The last time Masandawana took on the Citizens the results were not favourable as the Brazilians lost the game by three goals to two.
“Cape Town City have a clear profile, respective of their opposition. Regardless of whether they are playing at home or away. They are well-coached with a structure that allows them to be able to be dominant on the ball. They have players to initiate attacks from the back, Fielies (Taariq) and Leuuwenbrg (Peter) are very important for them. Their best player so far in the past three games is Mduduzi Mdantsane as he has bought a different dimension for them this season. They play 4-3-3 with a clear indication of what to do and we have to be very strategic in nullifying a lot of their threats that they will possess as they have a lot of quality,” stated Coach Rulani Mokwena.
Surely looking forward to this mouth-watering encounter. We can get a good result from this game, come on #Sundowns!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Sizobona khona
All we need is to be clinical infront of goals then rest will be history as they give us hard time👆👆👆The Sky Is The Limit
All the best Masandawana👆👆👆👆
I’m very concerned about our formation which limits the attack only allows us to dominate the ball in the middle not creative enough upfront
This 4-3-3 is something else for us
But kabu yellow nation all the way ❤️❤️
Good luck yellow family, the best way of defending is attack
Very good starting 11,and confident of getting 3 points. If it’s true that Aghly wants Sirino, please Mr President let him go,we have assembled the best squad ever.He is 29 and will not win us 50 million alone but, selling him will. You can’t keep a player whose mind is somewhere else.We lost good players and still going very strong. No player in SA can replace Tau and Zungu, but we still won trophies without them.We have Promise,Mkhulise,Makgalwa who can fill in the void easily,it’s just in SA we prefer to play age instead of natural talent. Those boys need a very brave and astute technical team.If Saka (19 yrs) can play regularly at Arsenal and Ansu (18) at Barcelona, why not our development products at their age?
We played well when Kekana is on the bench hope he will continue to sit there, about rumours of Sirino going to All Ahly he can go if we will replace him with Kapinga because they are playing similar football.Thanx for the win Kby forever.
Good display by the boys. I would nt be disappointed had we lost the game.
If the roumours Aly Ahly, please guys just him go for that R50 million! We have got enough players to replace him! Kabinga is waiting on the wings and those youngsters are good! The team is jelling well without him anyway!
