The DStv Diski Challenge Rewired resumes this week and the Diski Team boys will be looking to make it two wins from two when the take on Swallows FC Reserves at the Bidvest Stadium at midday on Sunday afternoon.
The team began their campaign last Saturday with an emphatic win against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. The young Brazilians claimed a 4-1 victory with goals coming from Siminikiwe Mbonde, Khumo Mtlala, Thando Buthelezi and Jan Baloyi.
Looking ahead to Sunday’s game, Diski Team Head Coach Surprise Moriri shared an update on the teams preparations: “Our preparations are going well thus far, if one has to give a brief background of our team, we have brought in a couple of youngsters from the under 19’s in preparation for the next season, some of them played for the first time last week and they did fairly well.”
“We are anticipating a very good game, having watched Swallows play against Baroka, we can see that they are an exciting team and a team that are willing to play very offensive football. It’s going to be a very interesting game and the boys are looking forward to it, they have been working very hard during the week. We just have to wait and see what happens on Sunday, but we are confident.” , concluded Moriri.
The game against Swallows will kick-off at 12:00 at the Bidvest Stadium and will be broadcast on SuperSport PSL Channel 202.
