Downs Bounce Back in Mother City

Mamelodi Sundowns travelled to the Mother City to take on Stellenbosch in a must win ABSA Premiership game.

Mosimane recalled Tebogo Langerman and Sphelele Mkhulise while Mosa Lebusa and Lebohang Maboe made their way to the bench.

The Brazilians took an early lead as Themba Zwane opened the scoring after some lovely interplay with Sibusiso Vilakazi left Stellies shot-stopper Lee Langeveldt with no chance from point blank range.

Downs were dealt a blow with Mkhulise limping off midway through the half as Lebohang Maboe was called to action.

Sundowns were forced to finish the game with 10 men when Tebogo Langerman was forced off due to knee injury and Mosimane having used all three substitutions.

Downs were left with hearts in their mouth as Denis Onyango forced a superb save in second-half stoppage time to deny Stellenbosch the equaliser.

The home side pushed hard but the Brazilians showed maturity and experience to close out the game.

Kaizer Thieves have been thieving on our players, they should not be myopic, Jose Toriaba, Kenny Niemach,Josta Dladla,Leonardo Castro,Fabian Mccthy,Kama Billiat, Dax from the eiland, Ramahlwa Mphahlele and others, these are the samples of players they played dirty games on aquiring. Today they are faced with FiFa arbitration. They have been playing these kinds of game for a while and I would not like to mention the other things they have been implicated on in a province like Mpumalanga with regard to Jimmy Mohlala. Now they are cryng like a woman who is face with terible situation for something they been practising for a number of year and expect us to feel the remorse for them now for Maluleka. They should have offered that guy Maluleka what he feels he deserves to avert joining the club s of his interest as he is slowly ,in his twilight of his caeer, that they would not look well after when he finishes his career beyond the three years that they wanted him to stay for. The reason why thieves must compete with somebody else for the services of somebody in the market for the benefit of the players as well. These players have been quarranted for many year for lack of competion. You can count the like of Jabu Pule and Steve Lekoelea. These are some of the player that their careers were destroyed for the sake of asking what they believed thier skill were worth paid for. Soccer is no more just a laisure thing but a careeer or profesion that one derseves the remuneration that commenserate with one’s cababilties whether you are on the bench for while or in scheme for that particular contractual period. If Maluleka performs well he will definatley be the choice for the chouch as long as he is getting paid for his time that he has signed for.

congratulations indeed to the team. If they can repeat the very same 1-0 against Pirates next week then we can start talking a different language. It’s not like pirates are unbeatable. Just sometimes coach need to play a total different team so that opponent do not get their plans right around the-so-called regulars. But sometimes you look at those injured sundowns players on grand-stands, and it’s so unbelievable that the number seems to be growing by the day. Its as if the number has reached 15 now.

Well done team. You pulled a victory under hard conditions yesterday. I think things are about to get harder and more interesting. We need every person to do their part.
