The Mamelodi Sundowns Diski Team are on the road again this weekend and it’s another trip to Bloemfontein. The difference is this weekend, they are visiting the Marumo Gallants Reserves for an encounter to take place on Saturday morning at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium.
Masandawana’s last outing took place last weekend at the same stadium they are playing at this weekend. They recorded their 6th loss of the season after losing the bragging rights to the SuperSport United Reserves in the Tshwane Derby. Despite putting in a good fight in what was a titanic tussle, they lost in a tight 2-3 battle.
The Marumo Gallants side they are meeting on Saturday, is one that registered a victory at home this past weekend, their fourth of the season. They currently look like a side that is trying to wrap up the season strong. With them returning to their winning ways, this encounter promises not to be a walk in the park for the Pretoria-based side.
The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 4-1 scoreline in favor of Bafana Ba Style. Captain Ntando Nkosi, Siyabonga Mabena, and Thulani Zabdamela are the players who netted the winning goals.
