Mamelodi Sundowns’ Diski Team is on the road this weekend to Bloemfontein for another DStv Diski Challenge Festival. Despite being on the road, they will be playing hosts to the SuperSport United Reserves in the Tshwane Derby on Saturday afternoon at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.
Masandawana come from the back of a victory at home against the AmazuluReserves where they played to a tight 2-1 battle. As they head to Saturday’s fixture, they will be looking to grab the bragging rights when they face Matsatsantsa who come from a 4-2 loss against Orlando Pirates.
The last time the two sides met was in November 2024 in another Festival and the Young Brazilians won 2-1 in a mouthwatering clash. In the last five Tshwane Derbies, Bafana Ba Style has won four and drawn one. They will look to keep the momentum and stay on the winning side.
