The South African U20 Men’s National Team head coach, Raymond Mdaka, has named his 26-man preliminary squad, as they prepare for the 2024 COSAFA U20 Championships that will be taking place at the end of September.
Amongst the 26 men who have been called up, are five Mamelodi Sundowns stars, Siyabonga Mabena, Asekho Tiwani, Kutlwano Letlhaku, Gomolemo Kekana and Bennet Mokoena. The preliminary squad reported for camp early this week as they prepare for two friendlies against Lesotho. Amajita will be travelling to Maseru to face off the Lesotho side this weekend.
The two friendlies will take place on Friday, the 16th of August 2024 at 15H00 SAST and on Sunday, the 18th of August 2024 at 10H00 SAST.
