The Mamelodi Sundowns DStv Diski Team are handling another assignment this weekend when they host TS Galaxy on Saturday at the TUT Stadium. The Brazilians head to this encounter looking to edge out their counterparts and hit double figures on the board. This will be the first time the Tshwane-based side play at the TUT Stadium.
TS Galaxy have been enjoying their dominance in the league, having won three matches and drew one. Looking ahead of the match, the Head Coach, Sinethemba Badela, said the encounter will be a hard one, but his side is well fueled and set.
“We are playing against a very good team. We have watched a few of their games and we are still looking a little bit deeper into the team. They have only conceded two goals and they are good on the ball. As usual, we will look at their strengths and weaknesses and we will try to prepare our players accordingly,” he said.
Coach Badela has been very vocal about the work his side has been putting in ensuring that they improve in every game and provide the desired results.
“The team is improving a lot. It’s still a new team that is only two months old, with a lot of young players. There are things we have been working on and the improvement is evident. There are a lot of build-up schemes but there’s room for improvement,” said Coach Badela.
“The mentality heading to this game is just like any other game. we take it one game at a time. We will try to do better than we did in the previous game. We have to focus on the performance and some of the things we did not do right against Swallows,” he continued.
Masandawana have been preparing and working on their improvements before they can head to the clash on Saturday. According to Coach Badela, by the time the weekend comes, his troops would have fixed their mistakes from the previous game and will be geared up for an entertaining meeting.
“We were not happy with a lot of things against Swallows, but we have been addressing them throughout the week and by Saturday, the players will be better prepared than they are in this moment,” he concluded.
The Mamelodi Sundowns DStv Diski Team will go head-to-head with the TS Galaxy Reserves at the TUT Stadium on Saturday morning. Kick off is at 10am.
