Andile Jali has resumed training with Mamelodi Sundowns’ first team having recovered from his left foot injury. Jali hasn’t played for the Brazilians in the league this year due to that injury.
Jali has been in the sidelines with Wayne Arendse who has a left calf strain. Arendse will undergo a scan on Wednesday, a day after Mamelodi Sundowns took on Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium.
On Monday Phakamani Mahlambi resumed training. Mahlambi was out due to a hamstring strain. Thokozani Sekotlong also has a hamstring strain that has kept him out of contention.
Lucky Mohomi has a left knee strain he sustained from the MultiChoice Diski Challenge.
It’s good that we have depth otherwise with such a number of injuries we were going to struggle in the league and other competitions we taking part on.
But all these players who’re injured are hardly used.
Jali was a regular b4 he got injured
Tactics and hard work won us the game,even Da gama was confused he thought Lakay was introduced to play as a defender.He must just check,even against Waydaad he was introduced when we’re still 1-1.We don’t need a target man,My main concern is playing Nascimento,Kekana,Mabunda and Langerman every game,they need to be managed properly.W must do as we did with Morena and Lakay,use Madisha or Cotzee in the middle coz they are still young.Well done to the technical team and players.

Great performance by da boys in da first half,bt sec half da legs were gone since it was our 4th game in 11 days.Da concerns which I raised 2 days ago abt da performance of Mabunda,Kekana and Maboe proved to be true yesterday with Mabunda giving away a lot of unnecessary fouls,Kekana with his long unsuccessful passes,and Maboe wasting a lot of chances with his poor first touch and laziness.the Kekana-Mabunda partnership is not bearing any fruits cos both of them give away possession way too easily
Member Sundowns is not the same without Hlompho, That Man knows how to press the team and he also scores,please check properly the second goal comes from him,as for Maboe the boy works hard.he does not only attack but he also play to win balls.I also thought like you and on Wednesday against Maritzburg i watched him properly and i was convinced, I also saw that Sugar’s game dropped. but we need that combination to win the champions league as he can score goals and he can win aerial balls against those tall North Africans.I think the coach just need to substitute players like Mshishi, Sirino and Maboe in the second half to spare them.
I agree with other supporters opinion that some players r no longer hungry to die for the team.But r taking the starting lineup for granted&it’s obvious that they know that they’ll be selected anyway no matter how they performed badly the previous games.Mkhulise&Mohomi hav shows that they want the jersey&2 die for the team.As 4 Langerman,Mabunda,Nascimento,Brockie&Pieterse have been given the chance nothing surprising there.Mabunda can’t be selected only 4 interception of the ball only what about other aspects football that he is no longer fulfilling?Ali Meza needs to be selected 4 his position that is as a centre 4ward bcoz it is was he is,instead of saying a player sent make whereas we know that he was not selected&given a fair chance like others who have disappointed us.Maboe doesn’t have a divine right to b on the starting lineup even if he has performed badly.Pitso give a fair chance to every body who is prepared to play 4 us.Sometimes we have to grind results to get an end products called winning.This year we r playing ugly football called winning.There is not a single win that has no than 2 goals but to be on the summit of the log is what is needed if we consider that the team has not have a proper rest 4 Mohomi.But than 4 years.Sometimes I don’t even know why shud we complain about Sundowns performance bcuz those guys haven’t rested since 4ever.Thanks 4 the win yesterday we deserved it.
