Mamelodi Sundowns Captain Hlompho Kekana’s strike against Cape Town City in the first round of the 2019/20 season has been chosen as a contender for the Goal of the Season. The clash ended in a one-all draw and was played at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
This is not the first time the skipper has been nominated for this prestigious award. In the 2017/18 season his goal against Orlando Pirates also received the nod.
Kekana is known for his long-range shots in South African football. He is up against Thabo Nodada, Dumisani Zuma, Samir Nurkovic, Lebo Manyama, Gabadinho Mhango and Thabiso Kutumela.
