Mamelodi Sundowns and Šafranko part ways

Mamelodi Sundowns can confirm that it has parted ways with Slovakian striker, Pavol Šafranko.

The 27 year-old lanky striker joined Sundowns last season from Romanian Liga 1 side Sepsi OSK and made a total of 29 appearances and scored 9 goals for Masandawana. One of the key goals that Pavol scored was the winner against Royal AM to ensure that Sundowns progressed to the final of the Nedbank Cup.

Pavol, who has been a consummate professional throughout his stay at Sundowns is free to join the club of his choice and the Sundowns family wishes him all of the best with his footballing endeavours.

Not happy about the deparure of Sanfranko, he is one of our best strikers, as he combines well with Shalulile or Erasmus. For me the striker that Sundowns should get rid of is Kutumela, he is not Sundowns material. And if it is for financial and foreign quota reasons, Saavedra should be sacrificed because he is injury prone, since he moved in Sundowns he always injured. Also, the technical team should play Erasmus, our another best striker far better than Kutumela.

Sundowns should have done a due diligence on Safranko, the boy can’t trap the ball, can’t make a direct short from range, let alone an awful penalty kick. Its like he isn’t coming from Europe.Again its almost similar to what Mngqithi&Rulani are defending, signing Bradley Ralani,I mean does that add value considering that we have Luvuyo Phewa,to be roped in,instead of looking desperate for a quick fix.Because there’s money to be utilized doesn’t mean we can bring any player to Sundowns.Motupa is injury prone &is a huge liability if we are paying someone to sit at home the whole season. Is Saavedra still injured?I don’t think so,it’s one of those lies from Rulani&Mngqithi trying to explore other avenues.Well done yesterday for beautiful results&a great game. Yes we r still a work in progress in certain aspects of the game.We just need a fit Jali,Mbule &Zungu believe you me we will be unstoppable

Pls Management release also Motupa and Kutumela, its time to have capable players on the field and on the bench, every teams around the world are getting rid of deadwood players, another one who must get the chop in few months to come is Rivaldo,Saavedra because they always injured.

He gave us other attacking options especially the erial ones.
Now that he is gone who will give us that option.
