This weekend is matchday eight in the DSTV Diski Challenge, the Brazilian’s shift their focus to Kaizer Chiefs as they do battle in Rustenburg at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium. Masandawana go into this game after a great victory at home to Sekhukhune United last weekend that kept them at the top of the log, where the currently occupy the number one sport after eight games and have amassed nineteen points.
“We are up against Kaizer Chiefs this weekend in North West, the preparations have gone very well and one aspect that we were focusing on was the mental side of our boys, this was to make them aware of the importance of this game. We have done well in our past fixture by collecting maximum points but in a game against Chiefs, form does not take precedence. The is a huge responsibility when we play against Amakhosi and we wanted to make sure that we cover that part of the game. On the day it is all up to who is more prepared in making sure that they capitalize on the opposition’s weaknesses”, said Coach Surprise Moriri ahead of the game.
The game takes place in Royal Bafokeng Stadium and forms part of the DSTV Diski festival for the weekend.
Coach Moriri emphasized that his troops are ready for the clash as he pointed out that “We ticked a lot of boxes this week and we are ready for the game come Sunday. It is a tricky affair; we know it won’t be an easy game but we need to bring our A-game and they are a side that we are capable of beating.”
The game kicks off at 12:30 and will be broadcast live on SuperSport Channell 202.
