Coach Pitso Mosimane was full of praise for his players after the 2-1 Absa Premiership League victory over Black Leopards in Thohoyandou. Mosimane was seemingly very pleased with how his team fought and managed the game, especially after such a busy schedule, which also includes the Caf Champions League.
“These boys are unbelievable because if you look at the program we have and then compare with how the players performed today, it’s unbelievable. From Rabat (Morroco) to Thohoyandou and only get one and half day rest, I really have to give the respect to my player, I take my hat off to them”
With one eye on the Absa Premiership and the other on the Caf Champions League, Coach Pitso also stressed the importance of managing and resting of players to get the best out of them.
“Noone has a program like Mamelodi Sundowns in the country, hence we always play against well-rested teams. That’s why Black Leopards were quicker than us, faster and winning the second balls because we didn’t have the freshness and the legs to match them in their game. We had to manage the game and the legs, especially in the second half and you can also see from the substitutions we made, we had to rest some players like Hlompho Kekana, Themba Zwane and Gaston Sirino because we need them again in the Caf Champions League match against Wydad”
Ya sure, undisputed. As I said previously “these boys are fighters” they can grind up to the last minute.
Well done Masandawana. Let’s make what has never been done and what will take time to be broken. Let’s take both PSL & Champions league trophies in front of their eyes. There’s still a long way to go though and it’s never gonna be easy but we are behind you boys.
Come Saturday, just be humble and do what you do best boys. Please make us proud as you always do. Kby.
Salute to technical team. “Rivaldos new role” you guys are the best. Abaniyeke mannnn.
yes we are really humbled by the Boys xhem #AS LONG AS THEY STILL HAVE LEGS re kase fele maatla.
❣️❣️
comparing into what we’re going through, this was the best results ever. its possible, we can take them both. lets just score more of our chances,
Mamelodi Sundowns will win the Caf Champions League… That’s a fact!
#KBY
I believe so guys ,the boys can do it…the key for that is not in their bodies but in their minds…yes we can!
I salute! Vila back doing what he does best. Excellent team performance.
Everything now is in the mind, whatever the mind has conceived it shall be birthed. They have the mind and have no legs now but they are doing it. That is being professional, doing more than excuses, we salute the guys and the belief of the technical team on them. We as supporters keep our faith and increase our support, we can give it all in the coming months we will have time to rest but as for now lets do it like never before. Success brings about nice feelings, the talk and thinking also become different in our individual lives. The players must keep their focus and play one game at a time and be quick to shift their minds leaving the played games behind, focusing to the finishing line, that determination triggers the inner power, the fighting spirit, fighting moving forward towards the mark.Let everyone do his part and leave the part of the other. KBY
I hope the players are well rested because their schedule is very
tight. it is in their heart now , Keke said
they want to be remembed as the group that won trophies for sundowns
I. think.PSL must be
restructured
I agree with you Member, there are people that think that they own the league, they are administrators, Marketers, Disciplinary committees, Appealers, deciders of points even if the game was played already. what we are saying is why are they owners and do all these jobs, LET THIS CROOKS GET OUT OF OFFICE AND THE LEAGUE BE RUN BY PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE IMPARTIAL. OTHERWISE WE NEED A BRAKE WAY LEAGUE.Away with this crooks.
I was suggested this web site via my cousin. I’m no longer positive whether or not this post is written via him as nobody
else recognize such distinct about my difficulty.
You are incredible! Thank you!
We lost this game in Rabbat. Our players look very much tired.
We never played in the first half and once again giving too much respect on that team. Let’s shift our focus to the league, the sooner we forget this loss the better.
Yes Members, We did not click well in the first half and i believe that the team showed signs of tiredness, Hard luck to the technical team, the players, the fitness team and the medical team. let us try again next season and i believe that our play is improving so that we can open up a big gap which will enable us to concentrate more on the CAF Champions league especially from the knock-out stages. THANK YOU BOYS AND THE SUPER SUPPORTERS OF THIS YELLOW MACHINE. let us turn our focus on the ABSA premier league. THANK YOU.KA BO YELLOW
Hi there, just wanted to mention, I enjoyed this article.
It was practical. Keep on posting!
What is the use of signing top players if you are going to stick with the same tired group week in and week out. You are courting disaster. Top teams in Europe rotate squads just to freshen the legs. For example Liverpool made 4 changes to the team that lost 3-0 to Barcelona and it paid dividends. The game against Leopards required about 6 changes with the core of the team rested for the game against Wydad. Hope coach has learnt lessons. Our boys were lethargic and it was clearly evident that they are tired. If coach does not freshen legs against Arrows, I smell disaster.
