Denis Onyango the 34-year-old shot-stopper who has become a feature in Coach Pitso Mosimane’s side has added to his ever-growing list of accolades.
Onyango – who was nominated for African Player of the Year as well as African Interclubs Player of the Year – was sure to thank his teammates and coaches for helping him receive this nomination:
“I want to thank all the supporters and of course the club and the PSL for helping me to be nominated for African Player of the Year. Myself, Mshishi and the coach being nominated really means a lot to us and the club so thank you very much.”
“Most important are the teammates who have been able to help me get this nomination because without my team I can’t do anything.”
Onyango and former Brazilian Percy Tau were both nominated for African Player of the Year and will go head-to-head with the likes of global stars Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for the award.
Alongside Onyango’s nominations, teammate Themba Zwane – who was top scorer in last year’s competition with 5 goals- was also nominated for African Interclubs Player of the Year while Head Coach Pitso Mosimane was nominated for Men’s Coach of the Year.
Coach Pitso was delighted with the nominations of the players and said he was humbled by his nomination:
“I want to congratulate Denis Onyango, Themba Zwane and Percy Tau who is still our boy, for being nominated, they’ve done well. Themba Zwane was top goal scorer, he had a fantastic year. I am humble and I appreciate being acknowledged.”
Would it be a good idea to put down 4,000$ on a car that cost 7-8000$
? It depends on what rate you’re getting on the loan and what you
think you would be doing with that $4k otherwise.
Does that $4k clean you out? What happens if you have an emergency you need cash for?
Do you still have some in savings? There needs to be
a balance. Start investing and think like the rich. Open a brokerage account with your $4000 and buy stocks
of Apple. Costco, Mcdonalds and Chevron or a stock
index mutual fund and forget about it. Get a loan to pay the
car. The car that you paid for (and your money) will be likely gone or about junkyard worth in 10 years.
You will still have your $4000 and maybe much more in that time.
