Pitso Mosimane Named Coach of the Month

Mamelodi Sundowns Head Coach has been awarded the Absa Premiership Coach of the Month award for December 2019 after guiding The Brazilians to two wins and one draw in the league as well as claiming the 2019 Telkom Knockout Cup during the month.

The award comes off the back of the Brazilians immensely busy December period which saw matches in the Absa Premiership, the Telkom Knockout, and the CAF Champions League which included trips across the continent.

Mosimane expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the club who helped him to achieve this award:

“Firstly, I’d like to thank the players, they are the ones who won the games. Secondly, I thank my entire technical team for the contributions to the games and support that they give me. Our program is a hectic program where we always find ourselves being involved in three tournaments in six or seven days and you cannot do it as a single person.”

“Also, I must thank the Yellow Nation, who are singing their lungs out for the team. They contribute a lot. I must also thank the management, the board, the President of the club Dr Patrice Motsepe for all the support that they give to the team.”

The Brazilians are currently undergoing preparation for their Matchday 5 Group C clash against Petro de Luanda in Angola.

Congrats Coach, Go sign Judas Mosiamedi just to fix PSL and CAF championships, also Motupa will be a good signing. With Affonso and Mahlambi there as well we will have a complete strike force.

  2. Congratulations to the coach and his technical team. Supporters have experienced his vulnerability on screen during his commentary and also his steadfast persona at times. On behalf of the supporters we ask that he continues to bring out the best in the boys. Coach Musimane demonstrates humanity and we are all inspired by his heartfelt appreciation for the boys. Supporters resonate with that. May we win many, many more.

The boys certainly have what it takes to win the CAF championship game. They must just remember to ask God to bless the win just before they get in the field of play.
