“So far so good, I am feeling it, I am seeing it and we look forward to the matches” – Steve Komphela

Coach Steve Komphela has just finished his first week with the club and has hit the ground running with Coach Rulani Mokwena and Coach Manqoba Mngqithi. The opening game of the season is upon the technical team as Mamelodi Sundowns take on Bloemfontein Celtic in the MTN 8.

Coach Steve Komphela had this to say about his first week with the club, “It has been exciting in the company of great people, Coach Rulani Mokwena and Coach Manqoba Mngqithi, the technical team, support staff and the superstars, it’s such a refreshing environment. Lots of great people here, with great people there is always success.”

Masandawana has two tough clashes in their opening games of the season, in the MTN 8 and the first league game against Kaizer Chiefs.

“So far so good, I am feeling it, I am seeing it and we look forward to the matches. Obviously at the beginning of everything you are trying to get in touch, grasp concepts and understand the energies. Unfortunately one has to jump the train whilst moving, it is very important. There is no time waiting in football, you just have to get on board and do your job, at least I am getting good assistance from my colleagues,” said Coach Steve Komphela.
