Sundowns looking for a third straight win in the ‘Bubble’

Mamelodi Sundowns take on Baroka at Dobsonville Stadium tomorrow at 18:00. Bakgakga are currently in a relegation battle and are occupying position fourteen with twenty five points after having played twenty seven games. The Limpopo based side have not won a game in their last four outings. They will meet a Masandawana side that is high on confidence after having won their last two games and beating the log leader to go equal on points.

The last time Baroka got one over the Brazilians was in a cup game in 2018. The last time the sides met ended in a 0-0 draw in the first round of the current season. Masandawana have only lost once in the last eight meetings with Bakgakga, drew three times and have won four times. Meetings between the two sides have always delivered a mouth-watering clash and goals have been scored; it is only on two occasions where both sides have failed to find the back of the net. Mamelodi Sundowns has scored eleven goals against Baroka.

The Brazilians go into this game in high spirits and only three points matters as they are fighting to maintain the pressure on the log leaders who will also be in action tomorrow.

The game starts at 18:00 and will be broadcasted on SuperSport 4

The central pairing of Lebusa and Madisha plus Mweene will win us the league bcoz we don’t concede. To the coach don’t change those 3 until the end of the season,if yo want to play Onyango and Nascimento find another positions.I still remember vividly the league winning Mweene made last season in the last minute against Chippa, and how an hungry Mahlami scored against Frestate stars.

To the technical team,it is not possible for a player to perform good every game so,when a player is not doing ok substitute him early and give others a chance for the benefit of the Downs family ,no player is indespansible at Downs. It seems as if you are scared to replace Kekana,he is old and can’t play 90 minutes every game, even Guadiola managed Silva very well,we can’t expect players to perform miracles every game after all they are human.I have noticed that the younger players are targeting him in the 2nd half when he is very tired.Against chiefs in the 2nd half he was just kicking the ball forward to no man’s land for chiefs to collect it and attack us,when we are under sierge we need payers who can hold on to the ball and make accurate passes like Vila, like the goal we scored katzande just kicked the ball hopelessly and hit his deflected over his own player hence mazinyo replaced him.We really need analyse and scrutinize that game carefully.Coach you said it yourself this is a squicky bum time we need players who can deliver on the bitch. The reason we are not scoring many goals is bcoz we don’t field players who can spray defense splitting passes in the middle,Kekana only knows long balls,Zwane,Sirino, Mkhulise and Meza can’t benefit from that, only Makgalwa,Mahlambi and Mkhuma can.Don’t underestimate any of of our remaining opponents.

A 3 goal margin for today’s game, I’m not in any way underestimating Baroka but it’s time to take charge now

Good-luck to the team. I trust the technical team… They got us to this point so they seem to know how to win this thing. Even if we didn’t win, we would have tried. To claw back 14 points is no easy feat. Let’s try to win it. So Good-luck boys!!!

We can win the league if these last three games we take them as the final of Telkom. Chiefs is not a problem they’re under pressure now sure they will make a mistake and default with one(1) point then the sky is the limit. Khabo Yellow. Masandawane

We need a right back to assist Tebogo Langerman. Lyle Lakay got his chance but he fluffed it and is not that right back we need. The team should strive to secure Hlanthi from Bidvest Wits.

Lakay and Ngcongca r rubbish, they need to be sold,Kekana should retire…..I wonder who told our goalkeepers not to hv 2 players guarding each pole when defending corner kicks cos dat goal would hv been easily cleared if Mweene had put one man to guard the first pole and another man to guard the second pole
