Tshakhuma Await The Brazilians in Polokwane

Mamelodi Sundowns have returned from their away trip to Sudan and are now gearing up to travel domestically to face Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandela (TTM) in league action on Tuesday afternoon.

The two sides go into Tuesday’s encounter with starkly contrasting fortunes, with Downs topping the DStv Premiership table sitting on 40 points whilsts TTM are second-bottom with 16 points and will be looking to kickstart the tailend of their season with a win over The Brazilians. Both teams head in to the clash with one win in their last three games, however Masandawana are on an unbeaten run that stretches back 27 games in all competitions.

Both teams last featured in league action on the 21st of March, with Downs playing a 1-1 draw with Black Leopards and TTM being thwarted 2-0 by AmaZulu FC. In the time since, the international break that took place saw upwards of ten first team players on senior and junior national team duty. As a result many of the players who were busy during the break were given an opportunity to rest as the side fought hard to earn a point against Al Hilal in Omdurman on Friday.

The last time these two sides met they played a scoreless draw at Loftus Versfeld in the first ever league meeting between the two.

Tuesday’s action takes place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium with the game broadcast live on SuperSport channel 202. Kick off will be at 15:00
