Vote: Kekana, Vila Up For Best Goal Award! 

Mamelodi Sundowns duo of skipper Hlompho Kekana and Sibusiso Vilakazi are up for a top award and need your votes.

The Premier Soccer League confirmed this week that Kekana’s trade mark long-range thunderbolt in our Absa Premiership home clash against Cape Town City at the Lucas Moripe had made the shortlist for the August Goal of the Month.

That match had ended 1-1.

And so did Vilakazi’s equally beautiful curler in our opening league game at the same venue against crosstown rivals SuperSport United last month, a match the Brazilians won by 2-0 to get off to a great start in the new season.

Should one of the two goals be voted as the winner, it will automatically go into the Absa-lutely Awesome Goal of the Season at the PSL awards come end of the campaign in May.

Voting is open to the general public and the winning fan chosen in a random draw will win a jersey of their favourite teams.
