Eleven Mamelodi Sundowns players will proudly represent their countries during the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Divine Lunga will represent Zimbabwe, Denis Onyango will feature for Uganda, and Peter Shalulile will represent Namibia. While Ronwen Williams, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Malibongwe Khoza, Teboho Mokoena, Bathusi Aubaas, Iqraam Rayners, and Thapelo Mokoena have been called up for Bafana Bafana. Rayners has since been replaced by Evidence Mokgopa due to injury.
South Africa will travel to face Zimbabwe at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday, 10 October, before welcoming Rwanda at Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday, 14 October. Lunga, Onyango, and Shalulile will also feature in their countries’ fixtures during the same international window.
