Coach David Notaone is backing his side to emerge victorious when they host the Lamontville Golden Arrows Reserves on Saturday morning at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
The Diski Team come from the back of a draw at the weekend against Sekhukhune United. Despite their loss, coach David Notoane is confident that his side will not drop more points when they face a Golden Arrows side that come from a victory.
“We were not able to come back with all the three points last weekend after conceding in the final minute. We had the game in our hands until the final minutes which is uncharacteristic of us. We have worked on the areas we needed to improve on throughout the week and we are confident in the squad we have put together for this week to give us the desired results,” the coach stated.
The coach further stated that his charges will need to work on their form to ensure that they are able to achieve desired results not just in this match, but in matches to come, saying: “the boys know the team we will be playing against, they are a good team despite their results in the past weeks. So, we are expecting a tough game them. We will also need to convert as many scoring chances as possible and equally be strong in our defence. We head to this match with one mandate, which is to come out the winning side. It’s going to be an exciting match for sure,” he concluded.
The Mamelodi Sundowns Diski Team will face the Lamontville Golden Arrows Reserves on Saturday morning at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. Kick-off has been scheduled for 10H00.
