Sundowns have returned from their tough away fixture in Morocco and have now begun to prepare for their rescheduled Absa Premiership match against Stellenbosch FC at Loftus on Wednesday. The match which was initially supposed to be played away will now be played at home due to Sundowns’ fixture congestion.
Downs are coming off the back of two consecutive CAF Champions League group stage games against Petro de Luanda of Angola and Wydad AC of Morocco.
Masandawana are currently in the midst of a hectic December schedule and they head into the fixture facing a well-rested Stellenbosch side who have not featured in any action since the end of November.
Sundowns will look to continue their recent good run of form, with three wins and one draw in their last four games in all competitions. Wednesday’s opponents Stellenbosch come into the game looking to end a run of four games without a victory, with their most recent outing ending in a 1-1 draw with SuperSport United.
Downs strength in depth will be called upon, with the Telkom Knockout final against Maritzburg United just around the corner.
Taking one game at a time and solely focusing on it will be vital. Its good to have a schedule ahead of you and to play the games as they come and focusing on the next after. This program should by no means deter us from our focus, we have been there before, actually that’s the common schedule for Sundowns. If it does not come in this way it feels like we are not the ones, Sundowns does best under pressure than when relaxed, We wish the team all the Best. KBY
Experience is needed now we only need to focus on our selves and nothing else let’s grind out a positive result today
We need fresh legs against Maritzburg utd on Saturday so plzz Sir Pitso give a chance those players who are not regulars and I still believe we will beat Stellenbosch, we really can’t afford to lose this cup.KBY I remain.
This is a serious game for us to grab 3 points. So the boys that will be given chance today must be serious, as some of our starters would be absent due to final. Good luck Sandawana
All the best sundowns we need to a strong team today and let us not think about final.we have enough personnel to win both matches.rest those who r at risk of suspensions.
All the best to the boys, Kabo yellow forever . Playing 3 competitions in one week , we do have the quality to make the impossible to be possible . Its time that all the players come to the party.

The yellow nation, lets nt think about the noisy croud of naturena.the barrier line will end in February then we can overtake them ne.their gear number 5 of bedford (nurkovick)won’t climb the Modimolle to take league, watch the space.we r Golf 7s.we will defend it.but first thing first.Telkom cup.God bless Cloorkop only.
The yellow army, commander in chief of the yellow army General Pitso all the best.
Well done boys, Thank you for your continued hard work, Keletso will score anytime fielded. The coach can field him on Saturday and he will score. My worry is the way we concede. our goalkeepers do not control the 18 area, they wait on the goal line until the ball pass him, I wish the goalkeepers coach Wendell can tip them to attack the ball and his hands were not strong enough to stop the ball. otherwise They nearly broke Rivaldos leg but the coach is complaining about the penalty but actually we should have got 2 more penalties. KZN i come. Ka bo Yellow i remain. Sundownse dumela.
